RECA Dues
The Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA) licences and regulates the real estate, mortgage, property management and real estate appraisal professionals in Alberta.
ALL industry professional authorizations EXPIRE on September 30 each year. To remain authorized, real estate, mortgage brokerage, real estate appraisal and property management professionals must renew on or before September 30th.
Renewal applications begin and are processed through myRECA. Brokers will be notified usually mid to late August.
BROKERS: RECA will notify you approximately a week before notifying the rest of the industry. In myRECA, brokers renew themselves and brokerage licences by clicking RENEW under the My Brokerage tab. Associates and associate-brokers in the brokerage are unable to renew until the broker renews the brokerage. Brokers will know their brokerage has been renewed when the circle next to their brokerage licence turns green.
ASSOCIATE/ASSOCIATE-BROKERS: Associates and associate-brokers are notified by RECA approximately one week after brokers are notified. Associates and associate-brokers in the brokerage are unable to renew until their broker renews the brokerage. Log into your myRECA account to renew. Under the Licencing tab, follow the steps and complete payment. The circle next to your licence should be green if you successfully completed the renewal process.
